Your Global Digital Conservation Job portal
About us
The Conservation Networking – ConNet social platform started with the dream to become the most complete global digital ‘job pool’ for conservationists. It was founded in May 2020 with an aim of connecting individuals, specifically researchers and students in conservation, with potential job opportunities. The social platform is designed to share and promote opportunities related to sustainability, conservation science and other ways to protect nature. The aim is to facilitate the access of early career young nature lovers to conservation related jobs. The platform also shares educational or skills development opportunities (e.g. scholarships, internships, courses) to encourage the further development of the future conservationist potential and increase the probability of acquiring employment within the conservation field.
Why Conservation
Networking?
Many of the existing opportunities in conservation in Africa are hard to find, scattered, and at times not even posted or widely communicated. At the same time, many people looking for jobs are not prepared for the competitive job market, nor do they know how to market themselves, or what skills are required to enter into the field of conservation.
